Background Check Instructions

In order to volunteer at the school, you first need to complete your background check.  To do so, first go to the AACPS Chaperone and Background Check page.  Click on "Apply for a Background Check" at the bottom of the page and submit the required information.

After submitting the form, return to the AACPS site and view the Sexual Harassment/Child Abuse Training Video.

After viewing the video, return to the Training Video page and click on the link for the Volunteer Video Verification form.  Print and complete the form verifying that you have watched the video.  Return the signed form to your child's teacher or Lisa Sykes in the SPES office.
